Hiroko Anno studied under Maestro Joaquin Achucarro and acquired the artist certificate of Southern Methodist University, TX with scholarship. She also completed diplomas at the Juilliard School under Maestro Abbey Simon and Chigiana Musical Academy under Maestro Achucarro. She has performed as an accompanist since she was at the university and now actively plays as an ensemble pianist for various genres of music with many artists such as opera, songs, instruments and musicals, and for both classics and popular. Among those, she participated in the Killington Music Festival a couple of times with scholarship and also played with Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra for harpsichord. She also regularly appears on a television program “the Japan Famous Song Anthology”. A member of the musical faculty of Showa College of Music and Yokohama City Opera.
