Nuria Guerras Pardo

Nuria Guerras Pardo highlighted as "pianist of extraordinary artistic quality" (JD Diario Area), "outstanding pianist ... with talent, claw and director's security" (Jorge de Ortuzar, El Norte de Castilla), has offered recitals in Spain, Hungary and in the United States and made concert tours as a soloist, in duets with singers and in different chamber music formations with notable critic and public success.


In Spain we can highlight her concerts in theaters such as the  National Music Auditorium  (Chamber Hall) of Madrid,  Teatro Arriaga of Bilbao, Gran Teatro Falla of Cádiz,  Auditorium Pedro Barrié de la Maza Foundation of La Coruña, Real Coliseo Carlos III of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Centro Cultural de la Villa of Madrid, Athenaeum of Madrid, Polytechnic University, Eutherpe Foundation of León or the March Foundation of Madrid among others. She has also made recordings for RNE and TVE.


Transmitting her artistic and pedagogical experience, she has given courses and master classes in interpretation and piano technique, and chamber music in different educational institutions such as the Eutherpe Foundation in León, among others.


She obtained her High Degree in Music, in Piano and Chamber Music, at the Royal  Conservatory of  Music of Madrid, her hometown, brilliantly finishing Piano studies with Professor Mª Ángeles Rentería.


Invited by the Southern Methodist University, Meadows School of the Arts in Dallas, EE.UU, she carries out postgraduate studies under the direction of Maestro Joaquín Achúcarro who holds the Estes Tate Piano Special Chair, obtaining the Artist Certificate in piano interpretation . Joining him a great vocation, he is sponsored sponsor of the Joaquín Achúcarro Foundation, which, through his disciples, deals with the conservation and development of the legacy of the acclaimed pianist throughout the world.


She has received scholarships from the Ministry of Culture, Community of Madrid, Youth Institute and the Rich Foundation for postgraduate studies in Hungary and the United States.


At the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest (Hungary), she completed studies in Piano with Mariann Ábrahám and Balázs Szokolay and Chamber Music with Devich Sándor.  She has also received Master Classes and advice from Maestros such as Vlado Perlemuter, Georges Cziffra, Ferenc Rados, Mat Jansson, Auréle Nicolet and Aldo Mancinelli.


She belongs to the National Body of Teachers of Music and Performing Arts. As a specialist professor of Piano and Chamber Music  has developed her pedagogical work at the  Padre Antonio Soler Conservatory of Music of San Lorenzo del Escorial of the Community of Madrid and since 1998 at the  Conservatory Professional of Music Adolfo Salazar of Madrid.

Combining her teaching activity, she assumed the functions of Head of the Piano Department (2012-13) and Viceprincipal in this Conservatory  (between the courses 2012-13 to 2106-17), in which, with the aim of empowering students a complete artistic development, performs extensive management in the organization of festivals, concerts, courses, competitions and master classes. Among which are the activities and concerts of the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Conservatory. Likewise, She develops and coordinates national and international educational exchanges, distinguishing that with Canada, Vancouver-Point Gray High School Department of Music and with Malta and Serbia, within the European ERASMUS + Program. Contributing improvements in the Educational Project of the Center, she establishes links with institutions of the world of music and culture: the Community of Madrid (Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports), the City Council of Madrid, the Ministry of Culture, the Regional Library, the Royal Theater, the Theaters of  Canal, the Auditorium of San Lorenzo del Escorial, the PIÚ MOSSO Foundation, the Félix Cañada Museum - Gómez Pardo Foundation, Jeunesses Musicales of Madrid, IBERMÚSICA and the Centro Nacional de la Música from  INAEM (National Institute of the Performing Arts and Music. 


Since the academic year 2017-18 she is Head of the Piano Department of the Conservatory.

Lately, Ms. Guerras has performed with the classical dancer Elena Serna at the Félix Cañada Museum - Gómez Pardo Foundation in Madrid, during the official presentation of the autobiographical book "Kira, the Moscow dancer" written by the philanthropist and patron Félix Cañada, founder of the museum.

One of her next projects for 2020 is a performance for the inauguration of the painting exhibition by the young artist Fabiola Ruiz Santano at the USB Bank in Madrid.
