Carlos Santo


He was born in Alicante (Spain) in 1999, he started playing the piano at age 5 years.

He is currently pursuing a Performer’s diploma in Piano Performance with the great Maestro Joaquín Achúcarro at the Southern Methodist University of Dallas, Texas.

Carlos has won many prizes in many competition as 1st Prize International Music Competition “London” Grand Prize Virtuoso 2016, 1st Prize by unanimity in the Don Juan de Borbón International Competition by Royal House of Spain, 1st Prize by unanimity in the Linares International Piano Competition, 1st Prize by unanimity in the Granada International Piano Competition, 1st Prize by unanimity in the Toledo International Music Competition, 1st Prize Telefonica Berlin International Piano Competition, 1st Prize by unanimity in the Ruperto Chapí International Competition, 1st Prize by unanimity in the Eduardo del Pueyo International Piano Competition, 1st Spanish awarded by Trinity College of London, 2nd Prize Milano International Piano Competition, 2nd Prize in the Palma de Mallorca International Piano Competition by Rotary Club, 2nd Prize Ibiza International Piano Competition, Davidsbuendlertanze Prize in Madrid, Potential Talent Prize Valencia UMB International Piano Competition…

He offered numerous recitals in important venues as Royal Albert Hall of London, Berlin Musikzimmer, Casa di Riposo de Giuseppe Verdi in Milano, Sumy Philarmonic Hall in Ukraine, Steinway Hall of London, Royal Academy of fine Arts in Madrid, Château Monfort in Milano, Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Granada, Palma de Mallorca Auditorium, Franz Liszt Academy of Budapest…

Carlos has played as a soloist with the Alicante Youth Symphony Orchestra, Sumy Symphony Orchestra, Valencia Baroque Orchestra, Leon Youth Symphony Orchestra, among others.

He had been invited to play in the Sumy International Music Festival, Valencia International Music Festival, Segovia Classical Music Festival, Ibiza International Piano Festival, Teulada-Moraira Piano Festival, Granada International Piano Festival…
